Care Instructions: Jute rugs may have a natural, earthy scent when first unpacked. To minimize the odor, place the rug in a well-ventilated area or a shaded outdoor space for 24–48 hours. You can also sprinkle baking soda over the rug, let it sit for a few hours, and then vacuum it to help absorb the smell. For care, avoid pulling loose fibers; instead, trim them gently with scissors. Spot clean only, and use the rug indoors. Keep it away from open flames for safety.
